For the first washing it is ideal that you should presoak your linen product layed flat in lukewarm water about 4-5 hours. Then proceed to washing. For the first wash and all subsequent washes, wash gentle cycle warm water, (not hotter than 140°F). Non chlorine bleach. Hang dry and medium low iron while damp. Avoid the steam no matter how handy. Following these directions will ensure a long lasting beautiful product. Linen is tough and will likely survive any washing you throw at it. I usually bleach mine with my whites ?and it is surviving beautifully.?
